Windows Live Writer Thumbnail Plugin

  1. Close WLW
  2. download the DLL
  3. Copy the DLL to C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Writer\Plugins\ for Win32 use “Program Files” only
  4. Restart WLW
  5. Go to Insert –> Plug-ins –> ZosoThumb
  6. Select a JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP…
  7. It should create a 100×100 thumbnail image cropped from the middle of the original
